Conservative Councillor Jason Roberts recently caught up with Adrian Smith at Blackpool airport. Adrian is one of Blackpool airport's Senior Air Traffic Controllers and trainer.
Positive steps are being made to minimise closures as the airport's new Air Traffic Controllers gain their qualifications.
Cllr Roberts would like to say well done to everyone concerned.
