We thought it would be timely to remind the residents of Blackpool South that the Town’s local elections are due to take place on the 2nd May 2019. This gives the residents of Blackpool South (and Blackpool North) the opportunity to decide whether they want to re-elect a Labour Council or elect a Conservative Council .
We have all seen what a Labour council has done to our town over the last four years and will not dwell on it here. The evidence is clear to see.
Our current Conservative councillors are working hard to serve the constituents in their Wards to ensure that any problems are resolved through the correct channels. Common sense and hard work are just two of the many personal attributes our Conservative councillors hold dear.
We have a number of new candidates for next year’s election who are ready to serve the people of Blackpool South and look forward to your support. Their names will be made known to you in the near future and this will give you time to get to know them and more importantly for them to get to know you. Expect to see them in their prospective Wards soon.
Conservatism is built on hard work and all our current and prospective candidates are keen to show this attribute to serve you and our great Town of Blackpool.
As residents of Blackpool South ourselves, we want a Town to be proud off. A Town where residents are valued and feel they belong. A Town that when people come to visit, they do not want to leave and want to return as soon as possible. Blackpool is a fantastic Town and has so much to offer but there is still much to do. A Conservative run council can deliver the correct balance between tourism and local people to deliver the right services at the right time.
Return a Conservative Council to Blackpool at the next election and every Councillor will work hard to make Blackpool a better place to live and also to visit.
